HOW CAN COUNSELLING HELP YOU?
People seek counselling for many reasons. There is no rule for what you should and should not attend counselling for.
Whether you are facing a challenging phase in your life, feel anxious or depressed, want to improve your emotional health, change recurring patterns of thought or behaviour, have relationship difficulties or perhaps need to talk to someone in a non-judgemental and confidential environment - counselling can help. I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space where you can explore what is going on in your life.
Counselling can give you a new perspective on your situation, your feelings and thoughts, or beliefs that are affecting you or holding you back. Counselling can also provide a new perspective on the elements that can help you move forward – your qualities, motivations, aspirations and dreams.
As well as traditional talking therapy, I might also suggest other techniques and exercises that could be helpful. How we work depends on what you bring to the session and what you feel comfortable with. The choice is always yours.
